HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES TUCSON MALL BY IHG, Tucson – Your ideal downtown stay

The hotel is located in a nice resort-style setting with a grill area and covered seating, making it quite unique among hotels in the Tucson area. Rooms were lovely and clean, but noise from the street could be bothersome at times. The service was excellent, with the manager going above and beyond to address issues. Conveniently close to shops and restaurants, but the surrounding area was not the best. The dining experience was top-notch, especially in the mornings, offering a great selection of fresh items. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel rooms were cozy and clean with a killer jacuzzi, although the arrangement put the bed near the air-conditioner and the sofa/living area away from it. The staff worked hard to ensure everything was in place, despite issues with some dispenser machines. The location felt safe and convenient for traveling around town, with plenty of dining options close by. Dining was a wonderful experience, especially the Cinnamon Rolls, making it worth the stay. The facilities were well-maintained and provided a resort-style atmosphere with covered seating by the pool.

The hotel had some positives like a mini galley in the rooms and good A/C, but it suffered from a significant lack of lighting which made the suite feel small and noisy. The service was friendly but struggled to keep up with guest demands, and the location was convenient but had some cleanliness issues. The dining options were decent but not exceptional.
